My laptop has extreme lag when I connect to an external montior. Ive tried two monitors, with no luck and using the same games I run 80fps on, on the laptop monitor I get 20 on the external monitor. I use a kensington usb 3.0 docking station and when I put the monitor directly into that it lags very badly and if I also put the monitor into my laptop it also lags very badly. My computer is plugged in and ive checked the power settings to make sure im on the high performance battery setting so video is optimized. Both monitors are 60hz 1080p.This is my exact laptop:Help is appreciated, thanks.
