. Added the Crossbow as new weapon that can be obtained with console commands ('help crossbow 0')- Slightly better damage but also slower firing rate than with the Recurve bow.- Based on Laser Musket, still has some of its visual effects.- Uses separate Crossbow Bolt ammunition, that is fired nearly twice as fast as arrows. Sights work like with the Recurve Bow sights.- Weapon mod support can be expected later this week, custom models may be added on weekend.Added ProjectileNode for the Recurve Bow, so the arrows are launched from correct position instead of center of the camera.Changed the material requirements for the arrows to require wood instead of fiberglass to make them more feasible at lower levels.Added the explosion effect that was missing in the last version for the explosive arrows, they should work properly now if you had issues with them earlier on. Version 1.4.

Features:- The contents are completely standalone, and don't replace anything existing.- Recurve Bow and arrows can be crafted at chemistry workbench (components required, no perk requirements yet).

Well, since the original thread is long gone, I'm reviving it by proxy. No necroing, just tell us what you have for a Fallout fanfic idea or a Fallout fanfic (or crossover) you want to put out/recommend respectively.I'll start with a Mothership Zeta Mod idea:Basically, the Lone Wanderer goes through Mothership Zeta before the main quest and starts making his own faction. However, discovering a Pre-War underground instillation filled with pre-war gear including nuclear powered vehicles and limited production capability in the form of ammo and part foundries.Three months into his recruitment tasks, he and his body guard get to GNR and help Three Dog with his relay problem. Then goes to Rivet City and discovers Project Purity. He takes over the project and then starts fortifying it.It goes off from there. Fallout: Equestria is, in my opinion, one of the best Fallout and My Little Pony cross I've ever read.Yes.

You read that right. And the amazing thing is how the author made it work. There's also. It's mostly a slice of life deal with the Courier and her companions, though a plot has developed in recent chapters. As for story ideas: The romantic in me wants a story with a female Courier and Boone, but as a sideshow to the main plot of the hypothetical story. And really, I want to see a story with a maxed out Good Karma courier that went Independant, and how s/he handles being the ruler of a new nation of city-states. Because that's what the Mojave pretty much is at the end of the game.Say, how do you guys like to imagine the personality of your character is? I love the idea of my Couriers being absolutly insane. In a Freakazoid sort of way: Nice, but absolutly Daffy.Like this really. Stargate/Fallout crossover. The Fallout-world is just another world in the Milky Way.

It was once ruled by the Goa'uld, who left thousands of years ago and were promptly forgotten. Any similarity between the Fallout-earth and SG1Earth is thrown in a box maked 'Ignore this' (much like the fact that the entire milky way and Pegasus galaxy, and all species within, all speak perfect modern english). The SGC, after finding the Fallout-earth, decide that this world ranks #3 in the list of 'Best things we've found through the Stargate. (Next to the Tok'ra aliance and the Asgard treaty). An entire world filled with advanced technology, with no owner, free to the taking. A local labor force who will work for peanuts (clean water, radiation-free food), advanced technology which is far closer to Earth technology than anything they've found before (and therefore easier to reverse-engineer)- Laser guns, Plasma Guns, Robots, Power Armor, AI, StarTrek-style Replicators (the synthesizers from Dead Money/Big MT).The story would focous on the SGC personel assigned to Fallout-earth, trading, searching and stealing technology, fighting the Enclave, Ceasers Leigon, and the Brotherhood of Steel- and investigating the Mothership Zeta Aliens. Click to expand. That could be pretty cool.

I recently (yesterday) finished the questline in that mod. It had it's ups and downs but some of it was seriously awesome and most of it was at least damn good. Written in the form of a fic a lot of the flaws could be fixed, stuff like the relationship between the East Coast Brotherhood and the TSC, timeline stuff, canon issues (although honestly Mothership Zeta itself I think plays fast and loose with canon), things like that.If worked into a Stargate crossover you could take it a few different ways, could be interesting.I'll also +1 DarkAtlan's idea. Fallout Earth would fit fine in Stargate, you just need to hit everything with the Generic Ray and file of the serial numbers. That could be pretty cool.

It was beautiful work for a mod. That they voiced everything they could was great, no matter how silly it sounded sometimes, and it did grow on me after a while (especially when they poked fun at the accents themselves). In a game where everyone is voiced it's jarring when you run into characters that aren't.

In this mod sometimes when you talked to Archangel (who is a scary motherfucker) he wasn't voiced but everything important was. I hope they continue it, I want to find out more about Harkin and what exactly is going on with the Brotherhood.

One of them is actually finding an untouched pre-war instillation before the mod itself, then used said instillation to be a land based operations base.

Fallout Nv Mod Manager

Before the main Fallout 3 quest-line is done. I mean I've got various 'prototypes' running around.

I mean Fallout verse is such a rich universe all ripe for the fanficting with amazing backdrops to set those fics on. Its kind of jarring that the 'verse has so few fics, let alone good ones.I also agree that Schmidt (aka Archangel) is one scary mother fucker. He may not talk much but fuck does he scare me. He may be a little on the old side but he's like a fucking ninja (actually kind of like me, I can simply appear/disappear if I want to without anyone knowing.). Then there is the fact that the mod is, for a mod, easily in DLC territory in quality. I mean when you go through the pains to make such an ambitious mod possible, even at the somewhat (well, they don't have tons of money and time to throw around you know) shitty quality its rapidly reversing thanks to the mods within the mod. I mean they WENT BACK to Fallout 3 after they started the New Vegas version so they can complete that mod.

When most mods simply have the voice acting in there but no speech, this is a very welcome addition.scrapes some rust off of the thread. I think I'll try and breathe some new life back into this since I can't think of a better spot to talk about my idea.Right I've been on a bit of a fallout kick recently and as part of it I came up with an idea crossover fic with Fallout that I feel is worth sharing.Fallout: Wasteland Avengers, a crossover between The Avengers and the Fallout universe to create a new AU.Steve Rogers is thawed out of his iceberg much later than the comics or movies.

Bow And Arrow Auburn

He is revived by the Enclave to find that the world he knew is now an unrecognizable blasted wasteland. The Enclave tell him that they are trying to restore America to its former self and that they need Captain America again as a symbol of their cause. Since Cap has never been a passive man the Enclave assign him a mission to help them find a Rogue Enclave Officer by the name of Nick Fury and send a squad of Enclave troops with him as he enters the wasteland. And that's where there cover story of the Enclave quickly fails.Cap encounters a settlement with under attack by raiders and leaps to the aid of the Wasteland Ranger protecting the town. His Squad however does nothing. After the battle is done the Enclave troopers set about trying to bully and threaten information out of the townsfolk treating them as though they were lesser beings for not being enclave.

And Captain America sees the Enclave for what they really are, A Twisted American version of the Nazis he fought against. And he won't stand for it.After taking out the Enclave troops, Captain America begins his quest to try and restore the America he knew one piece at a time.-The fic will take place in New York seeing as a lot of Marvel stuff is based there.

The AU will be based largely on the Avengers Movie Universe as well as Earth's Mightiest Heroes Carton. Captain America is his Movie version, the rest of the avengers will have AU Wasteland counterparts.Avengers:Captain America (Steve Rogers): as stated, same as the movie version thawed out much much later.Bucky: The first wasteland Companion Steve meets in the wasteland is a wasteland dog he befriends and names Bucky after his long dead best buddy.Hawkeye: Clint Barton is your average wasteland badass, born and raised in the wasteland he is a rather harsh and cynical man but uses his considerable skill with a bow and arrow to protect wasteland communities. Clint is the Wasteland Ranger that Cap leaps to the aid of before turning against the Enclave. Acts as a foil for Cap's idealism.Black Widow: A Top Enclave Agent assigned to act as Steve Rogers handler and to keep an eye on him after he breaks with the Enclave. She seems to appear and disappear and it is difficult to tell who's side she's really on. Secretly works for Nick Fury.Tony Stark/Ironman: The New York Chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel has undergone a Schism, divided between two leaders Sentinel Tony Stark and Elder Obidiah Stane. Tony's faction referred to as the Iron Men, is based in an old Vault giving them sufficient tech and weapon resources to make up for their smaller numbers.

Tony while something of an arrogant alcoholic, is a good man who believes in using technology for the betterment of the wasteland while Stane believes in using it to bring the wasteland under Brotherhood control.Tony uses a heavily modified suit of Brotherhood power armor. After joining the group the Vault becomes the Avengers Headquarters. His small BoS faction includes members such as Star Paladin James Rhodes (Warmachine), Scribe Pepper Potts, and his Mr.Gusty robot butler Jarvis. The Hulk/Bruce Banner: The Hulk is a massive Super-mutant of unbelievable strength. The Avengers first encounter him in a gladiatorial controlled by The Leader and his Mutant Army. Hulk is as expected a rather brutish, violent, and angry individual. However there is one thing that helps keep the Hulk from ending up just another wasteland monstrosity. Around the Hulk's are is a heavily modified Pipboy that even the Hulk's mighty strength cannot remove.

The Pipboy is equipped with an Artificial intelligence that calls itself Banner, and acts as the Hulk's conscience.Thor: Thor is a wasteland mystery, he travels the wasteland fighting monsters and saving lives trailing a storm in his wake. But is he the Norse God of Thunder as he claims? Or just a Wasteland lunatic wielding some unknown lost technology.

Either way Mjolnir is just as mighty in his hands and woe be to anyone who incurs the thunderer's wrath!Black Panther: Rightful leader of the Wakandan wasteland tribe, exiled after his father the previous leader was killed and control of the tribe usurped. Stalks the wasteland waiting for an opportunity to free his people from the usurpers tyranny.Hank Pym/Ant Man: Scientist who invented a device that lets him control the giant ants that dwell in the wasteland. Asks the Avengers to help him find parts for his inventions.Jan van Dyne/Wasp: Hank's perky upbeat girlfriend, equipped with a jetpack and laser pistols.Nick Fury: An Enclave Colonel gone rogue, head of his own faction known as SHIELD trying to overthrow President U.L.Tron and the Enclave.

Deep in hiding as the Enclave has him as public enemy number one, observes the avengers from a distance and tries to help and guide them through intermediaries. Would be called Paranoid were it not for the fact that his precautions are completely warranted.Agent Phil Colson: Fury's main intermediary for contacting the avengers.Villains:President Ulysses Lee Tron (Ultron): Evil AI president of the Enclave.
