How To Add Mods To Modpacks
3y Posted byIf you downloaded someone else's modpack, chances are the files will be packed. You can't mix your new stuff into it, unless it's music.Basically, the only way to unpack the packed contents is to put your ISO dump at risk. This is a very bad idea, considering how long it takes to dump the whole Smash Wii U ISO with ddd.I know that some people will have their downloads all set to use right off the bat, but if you want your hacks to be used with other hacks, then you can't pack them at all; this can be inconvenient to some, but grateful for others.Texture & Moveset Editor. 3y Posted byPosted byIf you downloaded someone else's modpack, chances are the files will be packed.

Exactly why I said that you couldn't mix new hacks into mod packs, unless it's music since that's in a different folder on its own. Quote fromHello there. I downloaded Foolcraft from the mods.curse website but I don't know how to install it and get it working.
Is there a way to install it without the curse launcher and if not can you provide me a link to download the curse launcher and also provide some instructions? Thanks.I dont use curse because it is laggy so Download MultiMC. Quote fromJust create a new minecraft instance, and set the game directory to the (.zip?) mod pack folder. It doesn't matter where you out the mod pack folder. The only thing in a zip file from curseforge for a modpack is a manifest.json file and a few folders, mainly for configs. What you are suggesting will not work. It's not hard to get the Twitch/Curse launcher and it's not laggy like Solarkoid suggests later on unless there is something wrong with your computer or internet.Steps to getting the launcher:.
go here:. scroll the page down to where it says ' New Twitch'. click on '. It will take you to a download page on Twitch.tv with download options for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.

Quote fromme too, I hope someone tells me how to fix thisIf you mean the issue in the last post (you should really have made a new thread in, not posted to a year old thread for a completely different thing in a completely different section), that is caused by using Java 9 or later, which causes issues with many mods since they use a buggy Mojang library (this is one reason why Mojang provides their own runtime, which should be used even if it is 'outdated', which means nothing if the program was written for that version of Java.
